Alex’s Lemonade Stand

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is a national childhood cancer foundation dedicated to raising funds for research into new treatments and cures for all children battling cancer. ALSF began in 2005 when Liz and Jay Scott established the foundation in honor of their daughter, Alexandra "Alex" Scott, who, though struggling with terminal cancer, hosted lemonade stands in her front yard to raise money to find a cure.

From this simple yet powerful idea, the Scotts have created an amazing organization that has raised more than $ 150 million for pediatric cancer research. ALSF has funded nearly 1000 research projects since 2005. It works directly with physicians, scientists and nurses to identify the specific challenges they face in bringing new treatments to children with cancer.
